Training Workshops
Exploring the Foundations of Pluralistic Pakistan and Challenging Extremism
Training workshops are part of ‘Aik: Better Together’ project which hopes to recall Jinnah’s vision of a pluralistic Pakistan. Key objectives of the workshops are:
- To Increase awareness among participants about Jinnah’s vision of Pakistan specially in lieu of religiously-neutral polity and rights of minorities;
- To introduce and establish clarity on key concepts and best practices of inter-faith harmony, social cohesion and pluralism.
- Conceptualization of “extremism” as an ideology and identification of push-pull factors that influence it.
- To Increase awareness among participants about fundamental human rights under the Constitution of Pakistan in reference to countering violent extremism (CVE).
