Training Workshops

Exploring the Foundations of Pluralistic Pakistan and Challenging Extremism

Training workshops are part of ‘Aik: Better Together’ project which hopes to recall Jinnah’s vision of a pluralistic Pakistan.  Key objectives of the workshops are:

  • To Increase awareness among participants about Jinnah’s vision of Pakistan specially in lieu of religiously-neutral polity and rights of minorities;
  • To introduce and establish clarity on key concepts and best practices of inter-faith harmony, social cohesion and pluralism.
  • Conceptualization of “extremism” as an ideology and identification of push-pull factors that influence it.
  • To Increase awareness among participants about fundamental human rights under the Constitution of Pakistan in reference to countering violent extremism (CVE).
